Tools for the Community

The Las Lomitas Community Tool Chest provides residents with shared access to tools, ladders, tables, and other useful items for home and neighborhood projects. This shared resource helps reduce costs and fosters collaboration among neighbors.

If you have gently used tools or equipment you’d like to contribute, we gratefully accept donations to expand our community collection.

Please contact the board for the current inventory list and check-out process.

HALLOWEEN 2025

Halloween Tips for a Fun & Safe Night in Las Lomitas!

Halloween is one of the most exciting times of the year in our neighborhood! To keep the night full of treats (and free of tricks), here are a few helpful reminders for everyone:

For Trick-or-Treaters & Families

  • Stay Visible: Carry glow sticks, flashlights, or wear reflective clothing so drivers can see you.

  • Stick Together: Travel in groups and have an adult present for younger children.

  • Use Sidewalks: Walk on sidewalks and cross streets at corners — never between parked cars.

  • Check Treats: Wait until you get home to inspect candy before eating it.

For Homeowners & Residents

  • Light It Up: Keep your walkway and porch well-lit to welcome trick-or-treaters safely.

  • Decorate Smart: Make sure decorations don’t block sidewalks or create tripping hazards.

  • Drive Slowly: Expect more pedestrians in the evening — please drive carefully through the neighborhood.

  • Participate with Kindness: If you’re out of candy, turn off your porch light to signal you’re done for the night.

Community Spirit

  • Be Neighborly: Compliment costumes, say hello, and enjoy the laughter and fun that make Las Lomitas special.

  • Keep It Clean: After the festivities, help keep our streets beautiful by picking up wrappers or decorations.

  • Share the Fun: Tag your photos from the night and share your favorite moments with the neighborhood group!
